I’ve been reading a lot of articles about meditation in schools. I think this could be the next thing that could help kids in school. So many kids are being over diagnosed with ADHD. What if they just needed something besides pills to make them focus? What if they got a chance to relax for 10 to 15 minutes a day and de-stressed? There have been many tests done that show that meditation helps all students.
Now, many people are worried about the religious aspect of it. But, we don’t have to teach Buddhism along with the practice. It is a separate practice that can be done by anyone. We would have to teach the students about mindfulness and how to meditate, but we don’t need to teach them any religious aspects of it.
