“ Abilities wither under faultfinding, blossom under encouragement. ”

— Donald A. Laird
I love this!

Whether you run a small business with a handful of employees or a corporation that employs many, one of your greatest assets will be the praise and encouragement you give to your team.

To some this may seem elementary and to others, it can seem overwhelming to praise or encourage everyone, especially because, every worker is different and his/her needs to receive feedback, encouragement or praise is different.

In my opinion, it really boils down to just getting to knowing who is working for you and what works for them.

I wonder what you and those reading this do to provide feedback, encouragement or praise to your employees or team?

How do you make praise and feedback a consistent or regular part of your work place?  Are you using a unique or innovative process?  Please share your practice on praising or encouraging excellence within your organizations?
