“When a man is denied the right to live the life he believes in, he has no choice but to become an outlaw.” ~ Nelson Mandela
PB Followers, be courageous today!
And, in the words of Mandela ‘your playing small does not serve the world’.
In reflection of Mandela’s legacy, it occurred to me that few individuals stirred nations like he did.
The passing of this brave man of grace and wisdom on yesterday led to an outpouring of mourning and praise from teachers, preachers and politicians to celebrities and citizens across all socio-economic and sociological backgrounds and political beliefs across the country.
We all do well to study the former South African president’s life and career to deeply understand truths about the art of politics and the power of love, forgiveness and living a life of truth.
Many words come to mind when I think on Mandela’s life: grace, wisdom, saintly, justice, equality, democracy, moral courage, kindness, humility, dignity and most of all LOVE.
Rest In Peace, Mandela.
