” No army can withstand the strength of an idea whose time has come.” ~ Victor Hugo.
The older I get, the more I realize “timing is everything.” My business and personal dreams, goals and desires have seemingly never come to pass on “my timetable”. Generally, they happen when I least expect them.
In full disclosure, such life experiences have tried my ‘patience’ and tested my ‘faith.’ Conversely, these experiences have helped to strengthen my ability to center my thoughts and be careful and wise with my words while putting in the work to ensure I am doing everything in my ability to ensure success.
In time, over time – and, it never fails, my desire is fulfilled, change occurs. In retrospect, I’ve learned to trust I am ALWAYS in the right place at the right time to receive EXACTLY what is for me.
Wait With Patience
It goes without saying that “change is a process” so unquestionably, we spend a lot of time in our lives waiting. Many of us want change, but don’t want to go through the necessary process that it takes to see real change occur. The truth is, waiting is a given—we are all waiting on or for something. The real question is, how are we waiting, patiently or impatiently?
You’ve probably heard of the expression, “there is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come.” This refers to the fact that once an idea gets received and accepted – there is no stopping it. The idea takes on a life of its own.
In the final analysis, timing is (most certainly) everything! And, yet it is something over which we have little control.
I’d love to hear from you regarding (business or personal) examples of when ‘timing mattered’, please fill in the blank(s) below:
~ In my business, when it comes to _________________; time is everything.
~ In my personal life experiences, when it comes to _________________; time is everything.
